Baahubali series – How SS Rajamouli matched the interval blocks Frame by Frame

Today is 3 years of Baahubali 2. A lot of things worked well in Baahubali series. But what amazes me most is how SS Rajamouli envisioned the “interval blocks” of both the Bahubali movies to match frame by frame to give us both nostalgia and goosebumps at the same time. He knew how the second movie should look like even before he came to the first movie. It was sheer genius.

A look at interval frames from both movies

Baahubali chant during interval
The Baahubali chant from the crowd
The elephants acknowledging along with people
The drums on action
Anushka in interval of Baahubali series
Devasena’s expressions ( How priceless is Anushka especially in the first Baahubali)
Rana as Bhallaladeva
The shame on Bhallaladeva’s face ( Rana Daggubati was brilliant in this franchise. Period)
Sathyaraj in Baahubali
The satisfaction on Kattappa’s face ( Baahubali is all about right casting. Sathyaraj is another one)
Mahendra Baahubali or Amarendra Bahubali – both had actually helped Bhallaladeva on these occasions ( though it had only adverse affect on Bhallaladeva !)
Baahubali interval block
inally the moment when intermission is written on screen where Baahubali stands tall in front of Bhallaladeva.
